Participate in The 2026 Luxe Chef Gala 

This year we are doing things a little bit differently, but the Luxe Chef Collective is still the area's number one event that showcases Culinary Talent from the food industry's private sector.

Rules & Information
The Luxe Chef Collective was founded with the ethos of camaraderie. With that said we prioritize fair and ethical interactions between chefs as well as operating with professsionalism and good faith. The Luxe Chef Gala is the culmination of private sector culinary excellence where chefs get recognized for their talent and hard work.

​Private Chefs, Small event caterers, and Pastry/Cake artisans who are interested in competing are welcome to apply to this showcase. We hope to accept 16-20 chefs this season for the Qualifying round.

The season will take place in 3 phases; the Qualifying round, the Finalists round, and the Gala.

For the Qualifying round, all chefs are required to prepare and present one dish of 3-5 bites to a curated panel of 8 quailified judges. The top 50% of chefs from the Qualifying round will move forward to the Finalist round, during which they will be required to duplicate their dish from round 1 as well as present a second new dish for judging (33-35 portions each dish). Each chef will be given a stipend of $100 for this round to offset ingredient costs, but chefs are free to exceed this budget at their own expense to offer a truly exceptional offering. 

Chefs will be Judged and the top 3 winners will be announced at the Gala: Luxe Chef Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Participants are not required to cook at the Gala but instead are invited to get dressed up and be honored at this event.​

Qualifying round- May 30th

Finalist round- July 11th

Gala- September 19th

Categories chefs will be judged on:

*Technique

*Flavor depth

*Execution Consistency

*Concept Clarity- Does it taste as discribed

*Culinary Execution- overall presentation

*Professional Presence- in person and online; Branding

*Guest Signal- How guests experience you in person

*Community Activation- How you use your platform to promote yourself and others

*This year we will be judging Savory and Sweet seperately. There will be one winner for savory category.*
